Rome Changed Everything: Training, Competing, and Dreaming Bigger in Italy

Traveling to Rome, Italy with European Football Training and Coach Dani was more than a soccer trip, it was a turning point. It was the kind of experience that shifts how you see the game, your goals, and what you’re willing to work for. Honestly, it was life-changing.

Training the European Way

Every morning, we trained in small-group sessions led by professional European coaches. The attention to detail was unreal. Every movement had purpose. Every drill demanded focus, intensity, and accountability. It wasn’t just about technical ability, it was about thinking faster, playing smarter, and understanding the game at a deeper level.

The training environment was inspiring. The coaches expected more, and because of that, I expected more from myself. I left every session exhausted—but motivated in a way I’ve never felt before.

Evenings Under the Lights: Playing Local Academies

In the evenings, we stepped into real competition, playing against local Italian academies. We were invited to compete at Boreale ASD and Grifone Calcio, two clubs with deep roots in Italian football culture.

These matches were intense, fast, and technical. The level of play forced me to adapt immediately, there was no easing into it. The experience showed me exactly where I stand and, more importantly, where I can go.

Inspired to Aim Higher

Something shifted during this trip. Training and competing in Rome showed me what’s possible when you fully commit to the game. The standards were higher. The mindset was different. And now, my goals are higher too.

I left Italy asking myself one question over and over again: How can I get back here?

That question has become fuel. It’s changed how I train, how I think, and how seriously I approach every opportunity.

A Night at the Olimpico

As if the training and matches weren’t enough, I also attended a professional match at Stadio Olimpico, watching Lazio play in front of tens of thousands of fans.

The atmosphere was electric. The passion, the noise, the history—it all hit at once. Sitting in that stadium, watching football at the highest level, made everything feel real. That’s when I knew this trip wasn’t just an experience—it was a glimpse into the future I want to work toward.

More Than a Trip

Rome gave me more than memories. It gave me clarity, motivation, and belief. I came back a different player—and a more focused one. This experience reminded me why I love the game and why I’m willing to put in the work.

Italy raised the bar. Now it’s on me to reach it.
