Training with LV United, a team that competes in the Nevada Premier League, has been one of the most challenging, and rewarding, steps in my development so far.
What the Nevada Premier League Demands
The Nevada Premier League is built for players competing at a high level. The pace is fast, the intensity is constant, and the expectations are high. There’s very little time on the ball, and every decision has to be made quickly and with purpose. Players in this league are technical, physical, and tactically aware—every training session and match demands full focus.
Adjusting to the Speed and Intensity
This environment has pushed me in ways I wasn’t used to at first. Training is fast-paced and intense from start to finish, forcing me to think quicker, move sharper, and stay mentally locked in. Mistakes are exposed immediately, which makes every session a learning opportunity.
Competing Across Levels
Along with training, I’ve had the opportunity to play in a few second-division matches, gain limited minutes with the first team, and I was also invited to dress for playoff games. Being trusted to step into these environments, even in smaller roles, meant a lot to me and motivated me to keep raising my level every day.
Pushing Myself and Embracing the Challenge
Nothing about this experience has been easy, but that’s exactly why it’s been so valuable. Competing with older, faster, and more experienced players has pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to grow. Every session challenges me to be sharper, stronger, and more confident.
Why This Experience Matters
Despite the intensity, this has been some of the most fun I’ve had playing soccer. The competitiveness, the speed of play, and the standard set by the team make every moment meaningful. Training with LV United has helped me better understand what it truly takes to compete at a higher level, and it’s motivated me to keep working for more opportunities.
